Apple machines require a firmware update (boot ROM version) to detect NVMe SSDs.
Performing an install/upgrade to at least High Sierra 10.13. 1 prior to installing the M13 Turbo will update the necessary firmware.

Works great! Regret not getting a higher capacity (don't want to take the iMac apart again). Had to update the OS from High Sierra to El Capitan in order to repair the split fusion drive, but other than that it works great.
Working great so far! Super easy installation with absolutely no issues. Performance after installation has been stellar. Only issue was probably on my part: I didn't realize tools would be included so I ordered additional screwdrivers from another vendor (that I now need to return). Otherwise, I'm very satisfied.
This product was simple to fit, worked first time. Boot time was good, response time with applications is also very good. Would by another one for my other Macbook Air when the time comes. Happy with this product.
Excellent product and service! Laura in Fledging Support provided great answers to my questions, so I placed an order for two 2TB SSDs. One is now in a Mac Pro (running Mojave) and the other is in a MacBook Air (running Catalina). Both were a breeze for me to install and set up. Although it will take a while to use the additional capacity, the increased speed was noticeable immediately…
Purchased a 2015 iMac 21.5" 4K with a fusion drive to ensure I had a blade and SATA connection. Regretted that decision after first boot. Suffered through slow boots and application launches for 3+ years. Ordered a Feather M13 on Tuesday. It was delivered Thursday. The old fusion drive took FOREVER to clone. It took about 90 minutes to install the drive and reassemble the iMac. I could tell things were going to be good when the process of cloning back to the blade took half as long. The first boot was kind of like driving through a small town, if you blink, you might miss it. Thank you Fledging.
A bit more then a month has passed since i installed my M13 in my MacBook Pro and my Feather SSD is still stable and fast, working without any glitch.
Just to say a massive thanks to Fledging for an excellent product and great support! I needed to increase the flash storage in my 27” 5K iMac to 2tb from the miserly 256gb apple ssd that came with it. Max and Steven were prompt in helping me be sure of the product I needed, and shipped it to a friend who was visiting the US on business.(I live in the U.K.).It’s been successfully installed and I have the storage I need, and fast too. Fledging threw in a free Mojave install on a usb, and were reassuring of the warranty support to me even so far away. Will definitely use again, or recommend in the future.Thank you.
This product worked exactly as expected. And, as the original product from another vendor did not, this product came with easy to understand instructions. Since this was going into an older MB Air I did not know the firmware had to be 10.13 prior to installing the drive. The kit came in handy since I did not want to delete the customers data in order to get the 10.13 firmware updated. I was able to use the drive from the kit to do the 10.13 update and preserve my customers data! Once 10.13 was installed I installed the new 1TB SSD and the new OSX install and data migration from time machine back work as expected.
I have the Feather M13 installed for a few days now in my Late 2013 MBP and it works perfect. I had an original 256GB Samsung SSD which came with my MBP and made a backup of it. After that, I restored Mac OS with Carbon Copy Cloner (kept the HFS+ formatting), resized partition with Disk Utility and made room for Winblowzzz 10 and restored ithat one back with Winclone. I used those terminal commands for Trim and Hibernate / sleep and reset SMC and PRAM. All is good now , more room and better read / write speeds.
